Way leads on to way and the adventure of following Jesus takes us down paths unplanned.
It is hard to believe that it has been ten years since I posted here, but then not so hard to believe because these ten years have been rich and grasping for all of life without a lot of time, or perhaps energy, to spend on Building Bravehearts. God gave Dana and me a journey with TeachBeyond in Vietnam, and now for six years in the UK where I serve global Christian education. This continues by God's grace. But because of a shift away from consuming organizational leadership to a role as Senior Ambassador, I now have time to write, to look at the bigger picture of the global Christian educational movement, to make friends and partnerships, and to go deeper into where God is working. I am blessed.
I look forward to reliving some of these posts and seeing what God might have taught me in my global work these past years about Building Bravehearts. Courage continues to be central to learning and living and being all that God intends.
I invite you to go back and look at old posts. My quick skim doesn't show much I would change, at least the ideas even if some examples are outdated.
I dug into this today because I am presenting a workshop on Building Bravehearts next week at the International Educational Leadership Conference in Budapest. It is a gift to resurrect the old and put some new clothes on it for now and the future. It is time for Building Bravehearts to dress up and go out in the world again.
Blessings to you as we seek courage for ourselves and our children in a world where fears flourish.
